Thank you for visiting my book blog! My name is Julia (alias Jules.) I live in rural Virginia where I am also a wife and mother of 4 teenagers! I have presently chosen to stay out of the rat race so that I can keep an eye on my children and what they are up to. Four teenagers can keep you busy! I do not homeschool (although I wish I would have) but I do feel that it is extremely important to be involved in your childrens lives as teens when they are the most at risk for life altering "fun."
I absolutely LOVE to read. I have loved reading since I was very young and prefer a good book to any television show. I can be found reading at home of course, sitting in the car waiting to pick up a teenager after an event, sitting in one of many doctors offices and even in the middle of the night when I wake up for a bathroom break!
I am a small town girl. I love my family passionately and I have a heart for children and small animals :-) Yes, that means I do tend to feed the stray cats (when I remember.) I believe education is very important for children but I also believe that teaching manners, courtesy and how to listen to your conscience are sometimes equally if not more important.
